PyCon 2007 Notes
Once again, I had a great time at PyCon. There were lots of great presentations, and only a very few that I ended up being disappointed in. Here are the notes I took while in the session.
I take my notes using the FreeMind mind-mapping software. I tried to take good notes, but in some sessions, it was just too hard to keep up and I figured it was more important to pay attention to what was going by than to frantically copy down code snippets. Also, sometimes I found myself taking notes for coworkers on topics that I was fairly familar with, but in other times, I found myself not taking notes if I already knew the topic ("Know thy audience.") Sorry if things look scattered. Again, these are raw notes. :-)
My Notes
- The raw FreeMind source of my notes
- XHTML export with an imagemap of my notes
- XHTML export (javascript treeview) of my notes
- Java applet view of my notes
Other Notes
- IRC Logs of #pycon During the Event (my snarky comments are the ones from wam_)
- Live wiki notes
If anyone else took notes, I'd be interested in sharing or perhaps hosting them here as well.
